Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the EngiWire platform operated by AVG Solutions s.r.o. By using the platform you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • "Platform" means the EngiWire web application available at avg-solutions.eu.
  • "User" is any natural or legal person creating an account.
  • "Expert" is a registered industrial automation professional.
  • "Client" is a subscriber or hiring team using the expert registry.

2. Account & Registration

  • Registration via email, Google or Apple ID.
  • Users must provide accurate, current information.
  • Users are responsible for credential security.
  • We may verify identity, certifications and references.

3. Subscription & Billing

  • Paid plans (Discover, Professional, Enterprise) are billed monthly or annually in advance.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. We do not store card data.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled in the Billing section.
  • Prices exclude VAT; VAT is added per applicable law.

4. Right of Withdrawal

  • EU consumers may withdraw within 14 days without giving any reason.
  • By activating digital content access before the period ends, the consumer expressly waives this right.
  • Withdrawal requests: support@avg-solutions.eu.

5. Acceptable Use

  • No unlawful use, spam, scraping or automated harvesting.
  • Experts are responsible for the accuracy of stated certifications.
  • Clients must contact experts only for legitimate hiring purposes.
  • We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms.

6. Liability

  • The platform facilitates contact; we are not party to engagements between users.
  • We are not liable for damages arising from the cooperation between an expert and a client.
  • Our maximum aggregate liability is capped at the annual subscription fee paid.

7. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic.
  • Disputes shall be resolved by the competent court in Bratislava.
  • EU consumers may use the ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

8. Changes

  • We may amend these Terms; material changes are notified by email 14 days in advance.
  • These Terms are effective from the date of publication.

9. Referral program (invite a friend)

  • Each registered user receives a unique referral code and a shareable invitation link.
  • For every invited user who creates an account through the link and activates a paid subscription (first successful payment), the inviter receives a bonus of 1 month free, applied as a credit to the inviter's Stripe customer balance and automatically deducted from the next invoice.
  • The invited user is not entitled to any discount or bonus for being invited; they may, however, invite others and earn their own bonus months.
  • The maximum total bonus per inviter is 3 free months, regardless of the number of additional invitees beyond that limit.
  • The bonus is non-transferable, has no cash value, and is tied exclusively to the inviter's active EngiWire subscription.
  • We reserve the right to withhold the bonus in case of abuse (self-referrals, fake accounts, bulk sign-ups, short-lived subscriptions canceled shortly after the first payment, etc.) and to reverse already granted bonuses in such cases.
  • We reserve the right to modify or terminate the referral program at any time; bonuses already credited remain valid.
